Ocean
Optics sensor systems are ushering in a new generation of
low-cost, portable chemical-sensing devices. Thanks to
innovation in the development of chemical-sensing complexes
-- particularly those with fluorescing properties --
products such as our Oxygen Sensor systems will continue to
provide viable alternatives to traditional chemical-sensing
devices such as electrodes. The use of optical-sensing
methods lessens the reliance on the electrochemical
technologies that have dominated the field of oxygen
sensing.

The
new NeoFox Phase Measurement system is a fluorescence-based
optical sensor system that helps you reduce costs, improve
stability and make calibration easier for a wide variety of
oxygen sensing setups. NeoFox is the benchtop device for
measurement of fluorescence lifetime, phase and intensity
and is particularly suited for applications where
sensitivity to drift and system stability are critical.
Plus, NeoFox is about half the cost of comparable phase
measurement systems.

Our newest transducer materials
are designed to encapsulate pH dyes for optical pH sensing.
These materials can be applied to various sampling devices
and combined with fiber optic spectrometers and accessories
for convenient, non-intrusive monitoring. Consider our Smart
pH Cuvette – a 1 cm x 1 cm cuvette, available in PMMA or
quartz – that’s embedded with pH sensing material. Smart pH
Cuvettes are great for the biological pH (5.0-9.0) range
samples, are semi-disposable and require very little
maintenance. Also, our pH-sensitive materials can be
formulated as self-adhesive patches and integrated into
various sample containers.

We've
incorporated our breakthrough chemical sensing technology
with a new generation of sol-gel materials to encapsulate pH
dyes for optical pH sensing. Now, you can have a complete
system that delivers a fast response time, gamma resistance,
lower maintenance and more accurate measurement of pH
content.
